He completed his theatre studies at Collège Ste-Thérèse. In 1975, he co-managed a showroom (La Casanous) promoting the upcoming Québécois musicians (Paul Piché, Alain Lamontagne, Garolou, etc.). He also welcomed young theatre companies (La Grosse Valise, La Bébelle de Sherbrooke, etc.). He toured throughout Québec with two musical groups, as co-author, co-composer, musician and singer. While doing this and to this day, he never ceased to teach dramatic play. For nine years, he was a member of the theatre Parminou, where he was initiated to various types of dramatic play. He gave more than a thousand representations and participated as co-author to the creation of approximately twenty different shows. He was trained in group animation. He learned and developed working tools and approaches in musical as well as theatrical collective creations, approach such as improvisation. He happily flirted with televised chronicles, developed his expertise in screeenwriting and co-wrote a televised series named "François en série" and "François en série II" for channel Série +.  He joined Productions Coeur.com, who reunited  therapists and artists to combine creative expression with psychological comprehension. For three years, he studied Psychosynthesis to evolve as a teacher, animator, actor, comedian and author.

Improvisation

Jacques Drolet is a generous actor and his experience predisposes him to interact with an exceptional presence. In his work, the border between truth and play is pushed back to its extreme limit. His individual growth in psychology combined with his interest in sciences made him the logical choice to personify Pierre, a secret person, lost in his thoughts but capable of showing his emotions at the most crucial moments. For him, small projects do not exist; they are opportunities to demonstrate his talents.
